According to a report by Variety.com, Warner Bros. and Hollywood Gang Productions have tapped Michael Davis (“Shoot ‘Em Up”) to direct a remake of the 1981 sci-fi Sean Connery film “Outland.”
Chad St. John will pen the film, which Gianni Nunnari of Hollywood Gang is producing. Craig J. Flores is on board as an executive producer.
The film follows a law enforcement marshal stationed in space on Io, one of Jupiter’s moons. He uncovers a murderous and far-reaching conspiracy that threatens not only the colony, but also himself.
