Sean Patrick Flanery and Norman Reedus reunite as the vigilante MacManus brothers, with Billy Connolly returning as Il Duce. Ego-maniacal…Troy Duffy? I don’t think so. Has the gentleman who so ignorantly bashed Troy ever met him? Have you ever talked to him? Once again, I don’t think so. I have, so I guess I have the upper hand here…I used to live in L.A., and nearly died in L.A. one night when I was held up at gun point. I became a huge fan of the first film after that incident. Troy Duffy is the kind of man who actually visited one of his fans at her place of work. I was the manager of a pet store at the time. Troy is the very last person in the world I would refer to as ego-maniacal. He’s a down to earth, caring, and respectful human being who truly cares about his fans. He even brought me a gift. That’s the Troy Duffy I know…as for the writer who used ego-maniacal to describe Troy, it may be in your best interest to find out about a writer/director BEFORE making unfavorable commentary.
