UGO is reporting that Dylan Baker has confirmed his return as Curt Connors in the upcoming “Spider-Man 4”, directed once again by Sam Raimi.
It is unknown if Baker as Connors will continue simply as the college science professor and friend of Peter Parker/Spiderman, or if he will be one of the villains in the upcoming film. First introduced in 1963 in “The Amazing Spider-Man”, Professor Curt Connors inadvertently becomes the villainous Lizard after experimenting with reptilian DNA to replicate their regenerative powers, hoping to regrow his own lost arm. The experiments instead transform Connors into the savage reptile-human hybrid called the Lizard.
“Spider-Man 4” is already slated for release May 5th, 2011.
