DreamWorks Studios has picked up a pitch from screenwriter Andrea McCloud titled “I Saw You”, based on the comics anthology of the same name that is edited by Julia Wertz.

The pitch revolves around four intersecting love stories derived from missed-connections ads from both the website Craigslist.com, as well as local newspapers. Random House’s Three Rivers Press released the collected trade edition of the comic this past February.

George Tillman Jr. is attached to direct through State Street Pictures. Tillman, Robert Teitel, and Wertz will also produce.
