James Remar from the hit TV series “Dexter” has joined the cast of “Red” from Summit Entertainment, the adaptation of the Warren Ellis and Cully Hamner Wildstorm/DC Comics comic book fo the same name.
Remar joins Bruce Willis, Morgan Freeman, Helen Mirren, Mary-Louise Parker, Julian McMahon, Brian Cox, John C. Reilly, Ernest Borgnine, and Richard Dreyfuss in the spy/action project about a retired black-ops CIA assassin who finds himself targeted by his former handlers, and sets out for revenge.
The film is being directed by Robert Schwentke.
“Red” is scheduled to hit theaters November 19th, 2010.
