Walter Parkes and Laurie MacDonald (“I Am Legend”) have optioned the film rights to the novel “Earthbound” by Richard Matheson, author of the novel “What Dreams May Come”.
It is being written by Ronnie Christensen (“Passengers”) will write the screenplay, with Parkes, MacDonald and Keri Selig producing. Lindsay Devlin is an executive producer for the production as well.
The story is about a married man who begins having an affair with a young stranger, but later on realizes that she may actually be the ghost of a long-dead woman who is driven by much more than just simple passion.
No release date or casting information has been released yet about this project.
