Jeffrey Dean Morgan (“Watchmen”, “The Losers”) has been cast to star alongside Sam Worthington (“Terminator: Salvation”, “Clash of the Titans”) in the upcoming murder mystery “The Fields”.
The film is being directed by Ami Canaan Mann, based on a script by Donald F. Ferrarone. “The Fields” focuses on the true story of a pair of police officers who resolve to finally solve two decades’ worth of disappearances and homicides in the grimy industrial wastelands around the Gulf Coast of the US. Worthington will portray a local homicide detective who works alongside a New York transplant (played by Morgan). Together, the two must discover the truth behind the killings and stop the brutal but unknown killers behind them.
Michael Mann is producing “The Fields” alongside Michael Jaffe.
Production is slated to begin April 5th, 2010 in Louisiana.
