Kevin Costner and director Kevin Reynolds are teaming up for the spy comedy “Learning Italian”.

The project is set to shoot at the Bavaria Film Studios and in southern Germany. Costner will be starring, with him also producing alongside Reynolds and Howard Kalplan. Diplomat Films and Bavaria Film Partners are co-producing the film, the latest international production taking advantage of generous filming incentives and tax breaks in Germany.

Costner and Reynolds have previously worked together on “Fandango,” “Robin Hood: Prince of Thieves” and “Waterworld.” Costner will next be appearing in the Sundance hit “The Company Men” and the WWII film “A Little War Of Our Own”.
