Even before there were rave reviews for Splice coming out of Sundance, there was merely a fantastic synopsis and intriguing clip. Now that we know director Vincenzo Natali is sending something seriously promising our way and the June 4th release date is set, let the advertising campaign begin.

The last clip was actually rather cute and didn’t hint at the film’s terror whatsoever. This is not the case with the new trailer. In fact, there’s nothing sweet about this footage at all. Fred and Ginger are nowhere to be found and we’re left with the super creepy result of a genetic experiment gone wrong.
