Faizon Love, Emily Rios, Portia Doubleday and Michelle Ang have all signed on to join the cast of “Big Momma’s: Like Father, Like Son” for 20th Century Fox’s.
The third film in the “Big Momma” franchise, they are joining Martin Lawrence, Brandon T. Jackson and Jessica Lucas. The film would be about FBI agent and master of disguise Malcom Turner, aka “Big Momma”, and his partner Charmaine (Jackson) infiltrate an all-girls performing-arts school to unmask a murderer.
Love will play a school security guard and former Run-D.M.C. roadie at the school who becomes smitten with Big Momma. Rios, Doubleday and Ang have all been cast as students.
John Whitesell, who previously directed “Big Momma’s House 2”, is directing, based on a script by Matthew Fogel and Randi Mayem Singer.
Shooting begins on the project this month in Atlanta, GA.
