It’s hard to imagine Despicable Me being better or even just as good as Toy Story 3, but it certainly looking to be in the top tier of animated films. The promo material has been top-notch from day one. The creative characters make for appealing poster centerpieces and the trailers are packed with amusing gags and dialogue. It’s one thing to make your main players smile or to pool together the film’s best jokes, but now we’ve got not one, but two clips that prove this is one to look forward to.

First up from Apple Trailers is a segment you might have caught in the film’s trailers. When one of Gru’s (Steve Carell) new little pals gets gypped at a carnival game, he takes it upon himself to win her the fluffiest prize at the park. Then, courtesy of Empire, it’s on to some Gru’s more diabolical work. With two minions by his side, he infiltrates the lair of his arch nemesis, Vector (Jason Segel), and an angry shark almost blows his cover.
