Steve Carell has decided what his next project will be after leaving his hit NBC series ‘The Office’ at the end of this season, Cinemablend.com is reporting. The actor will be starring in a new comedy movie, tentatively titled ‘Imagine,’ in which he plays a man who discovers he’s the love child of an aging rock star. The rock star, who finds out about his long-lost son in a letter written by John Lennon, has yet to be cast.

‘Cars’ screenwriter Dan Fogelman is on board to write the script for ‘Imagine.’ It’s the second time Carell has worked with Fogelman, as their new marital comedy, ‘Crazy.Stupid.Love,’ is currently in post-production and is being shown to focus groups. ‘Imagine’ is being developed by Warner Brothers, and as of yet, doesn’t have a release date.
