Demi Lovato has reportedly reached an agreement settlement with Alex Welch, the backup dancer she allegedly struck during her tour with the Jonas Brothers, Access Hollywood is reporting. Donald Karpel, the lawyer representing Welch, confirmed the news, saying “There is a settlement and all of the issues have been amicably and completely resolved.”
Welch has also commented on the settlement, saying she’s happy with the agreement. While details of the settlement haven’t been released, Welch also said that she’s ready to move on and to start working again.
Access Hollywood was the first to report earlier this month that the ‘Camp Rock’ star was close to reaching an agreement with Welch. The dancer did confirm that a portion of the settlement will be donated to charity, which she originally stipulated be a part of the agreement.
