Our anxiety has been relieved wholeheartedly with the release of Bayside’s latest album, Killing Time. Although we were offered a teaser of the album’s tracks on Myspace, nothing is the same as owning your own Bayside album.
Killing Time dropped on February 22nd via Wind-up Records. This release marks the first through the label. Prior Bayside albums had been released via Victory Records. The recent album is compiled of 11 tracks, which include the bonus track, “Don’t Come Easy.” Killing Time puts their previous album, Shudder, to shame. We forgive you, Bayside, for that barely classified alternative rock album. Killing Time makes up for it.
And the Bayside domination persists. Alternative Press has announced that the magazine will feature the band on the cover of the Alternative Press Mini Mag, which hits stands on March 1st.
The Queens natives will also be co-headlining the ‘Take Action Tour’ alongside Silverstein. Polar Bear Club, The Swellers and Texas In July will also perform.
Bayside must take a liking to the number 22 because the tour also kicks off on the 22nd of April, not of February. The musical journey begins in Boston, Massachusetts and travels from coast to coast, ending back on the east in New York. Check out the band’s official site for dates and ticketing information.
You no longer have to kill any more time to be able to purchase Bayside tunes. The album, Killing Time, is here and is now waiting for you to get your hands on it.
