Christian Slater is continuing to resurrect his career by appearing in his third television series in as many years, FOX’s ‘Breaking In,’ Sony Pictures has confirmed. The studio’s new half-hour comedy follows a high-tech security firm, Contra Security, that takes extreme measures to obtain clients. A team of highly skilled geniuses, working for a manipulative mastermind, does whatever it takes to sell its protection services.

Slater plays Oz, the leader of Contra Security, who has his team take away potential clients’ sense of security so that they feel the need to hire the firm. The rest of the team includes Melanie, played by Odette Yustman, who’s in charge of picking locks and breaking into safes; Cash, played by Alphonso McAuley, who specializes in strategy, logistics and pranks; and new recruit Cameron Price, played Bret Harrison, a computer hacker.

The public can test their hacking skills by visiting TryBreakingIn.com, where they can try to break a secret code daily to win prizes, including Sony Cybershot cameras, gift cards, Blu-ray players and the grand prize, a Sony 3DTV. FOX is also offering a preview of the first five minutes of the show to everyone who cracks the code. ‘Breaking In’ premieres on Wednesday, April 6 at 9:30/8:30 central.
