Looks like the remake of “The Crow” is picking up steam! The Hollywood Reporter is reporting that Bradley Cooper has been approached to take on the title role.

According to the article, director Juan Carlos Fresnadillo met with Cooper in Spain and talked over the film and the character. Sources have said that Cooper is “keen” to come aboard the film. If he signs on, Cooper will take on the role Brandon Lee left behind after a tragic and freaky on-set accident which took his life.

Last week, it was reported that Fresnadillo, who has also directed “28 Days Week Later”, had been signed on as the director of the remake.

“The Crow”, based on an alternative comic book by James O’Barr, is about a musician who unsuccessfully attempts to save his fiancee from thugs and gets killed. Resurrected by the supernatural, the character then sets out to find the men who killed him and his love.

Now that progress on the movie is beginning to get faster-paced, what are your feelings on it? Do you think the remake needs to be done at all? Do you feel Bradley Cooper is the right guy for the job? Sound off on this and other concerns in the comments section below.
