Finally, at long last, the trailer for the highly-anticipated film “The Muppets” has been released! I, for one, am a huge Muppets fan, so I’m glad to finally see some film footage.

The trailer sets up the human side of the story, Mary (Amy Adams) and Gary (Jason Segel) are travel to Hollywood in order to do some sightseeing, but a small tiff happens when Gary forgets their anniversary. In any case, that’s not what people are waiting to see the trailer for–we’re waiting to see the Mupppets! And, indeed, we do see Kermit, Miss Piggy (looking fashionable as ever), and the rest of the crew.

“The Muppets” is written by Segel and directed by James Bobin. Like most Muppet films, “The Muppets” has tons of celebrity cameos, including Katy Perry, David Grohl, Mickey Rooney, Alan Arkin, Whoopi Goldberg, French Stewart, Ricky Gervais, Liza Minnelli (who was also in “The Muppets Take Manhattan”) Wanda Sykes, Donald Glover, Rachel Ray, Billy Crystal, Rashida Jones, Danny Trejo, Jack Black, Eric Stonestreet, and plenty of other people whom I haven’t named simply because I don’t have the space.

“The Muppets” comes to theaters November 23, 2011. You can view the trailer below; make sure to leave your opinions about the trailer in the comments section below.
