The film “How To Cheat” is premiering at the 2011 Los Angeles Film Festival this month. The film, directed by Amber Sealey, will officially premiere Friday, June 17 at 9:50pm PST at Regal Cinemas L.A. Live 11. Additional screenings include Thursday, June 23 at 4:10pm at Regal Cinemas L.A. Live 9 and Saturday, June 25th at 7:00pm at Downtown Independent. The trailer for the film is below.

Here’s the official synopsis of the film:

In this funny and honest depiction of the messiness of modern marriage, writer-director Amber Sealey (A PLUS D) also stars as Beth, a woman of child-bearing age and inclination who, with her husband Mark, has been struggling to conceive. Sealey’s guileless performance as a woman betrayed by her own body is matched by Kent Osborne’s (UNCLE KENT & HANNAH TAKES THE STAIRS) as the awkward Mark, who, confused and frustrated, turns to online dating, where he shops for the perfect affair to shake up his life. Given his counterproductive tendency to reveal his motives up front, his encounters tend to be short and ugly, until he meets the avid Louise, whose complex attitude sets them all down an unexpected path.
