The buzz surrounding the rock band, Adelitas Way, will hit an all time high this Tuesday. The Las Vegas group’s sophomore album, ‘Home School Valedictorian’ will drop June 7th via Virgin Records. We’ve only seen and heard just as much as you Shockya readers have from the forthcoming album, such as the track “Sick” and the tune’s daring music video. So we have the same ‘Home School Valedictorian’ background knowledge.

We might have just lied a bit, but we didn’t want to spoil some upcoming Adelitas Way news. We got to chat briefly with vocalist Rick DeJesus about the band’s album and summer tour plans, but all that stimulating information will be in a separate post this coming week. We can give you an interesting point about Adelitas Way in the mean time. The group believes so strongly in their music. It is a type of passion we haven’t heard from a band yet.

Check out the video clip below of bassist Derek Johnston thanking us for supporting them and the release of ‘Home School Valedictorian’. We would like to return that thank you with one of our own. Thank you Adelitas Way for showing us how key it is to take pride in your own career, not only for your own sake, but also for those loyal fans who admire you as well.
