A new picture for the upcoming film ‘The Family Tree’ has been released by its new distributor, Entertainment One. The picture features Dermot Mulroney and Hope Davis, who portray a dysfunctional married couple, Jack and Bunnie Burnett, in the comedy-drama.
Sejin Park, the VP of Worldwide Acquisitions for Entertainment One, recently negotiated the deal to pick up ‘The Family Tree.’ The film was directed by Vivi Friedman and written by Mark Lisson. It was produced by Allan Jones, J. Todd Harris, Mark Lisson and Kathy Weiss.
‘The Family Tree’ is the latest movie that Entertainment One acquired the U.S. distribution rights for. The entertainment company is aiming to establish a comprehensive, national distribution network with films that focus on a variety of topics.
