Bryce Dallas Howard is set to collaborate with her father Ron and Canon Cameras to direct a short film called ‘Project Imagin8ion,’ based on eight award-winning photos, according to The Hollywood Reporter. The photos will serve as a narrative foundation for the film, which Ron will produce.
Ron said that he feels his daughter is ready to direct, as she’s “involved with scripts, writing scripts.” He added that “not a lot of people know that she’s moving in this direction. And I sent the idea out to her and her writing partner and they were just immediately thrilled by the proposition.”
‘The Help’ actress has said she’s excited to work with her father, as “I have a lot of reverence for him and what he’s done in his career…I’m viewing this collaboration in part as an opportunity to learn from him.”
