Who doesn’t love Jason Bateman and Vince Vaughn?! And now comes the news that the two very different, but hilarious actors are teaming up for the ‘The Insane Laws’! This time around the Couples Retreat co-stars, who previously played two husbands working on their marriages, have signed on to play best friends whose kids get together! Here’s the plot details.
“longtime best friends, who’ve shared everything, from college to the time both got married and had kids at the same time. Cut to when those kids are away at college, and, unbeknownst to their parents, falling in love. The best friend relationship is sorely tested when the daughter of Vaughn’s character gets pregnant.”
The upcoming comedy, which most likely won’t hit theaters until sometime next year, comes from The Break Up screenwriter Jeremy Garelick who will also be breaking new ground, directing a big screen production for the first time. Not a bad cast to line up for your film debut, wouldn’t you say?! Seeing how the plot follows Vaughn’s little girl who gets pregnant, I think we can already see how this one will go, as his alter ego will most likely bring some physical harm to Bateman’s character!
