‘Halo: Reach’ screenwriter Peter O’Brien has been hired by Warner Bros. to pen the script for its upcoming action film ‘Line of Sight,’ Collider is reporting. The movie will reportedly follow an elite commando squad that’s transporting cargo during a global threat. ‘Line of Sight’ will be co-produced by Joel Silver and Andrew Rona, and is part of the studio’s effort to re-create the success Universal had with its recent hit release ‘Fast Five.’

The news of O’Brien’s hiring comes as Warner Bros. is producing his ‘Black List’ screenplay. The screenwriter is also working on a script for director Marc Forster’s movie ‘The Chancellor Manuscript’ and Fox 2000’s big screen adaptation of the British mini-series ‘The Jury.’
