The first full look at ‘Puss in Boots’ stepping out from behind the large shadow of Shrek has made its big debut! And it looks like the Dreamworks Animation is easily a shoe in for some box office lovin! The 3D spin-off will give fans a taste of where the smooth talking karate kitty started, before becoming the helpful sidekick of the famous green ogre. Directed by Chris Miller, the first look at Puss in Boots features Antonio Banderas working the voice of the star character, actress Salma Hayek as Softpaws Kitty, whose one hot ticket. And both Billy Bob Thornton and Hangover actor Zach Galifianakis also on board.
Recently talking about the Puss’ spin off, Banderas dropped a little insight on what fans can expect as the kitty with swagger makes his debut as the lead star – “it will go “in a different direction” with more of a “Sergio Leone and Western movies” feel.
With a script written by Hop’s Bryan Lynch, Jon Zack, Tom Wheeler and David H. Steinberg, Puss in Boots is due in theaters on November 4th!
