Scott Foley has been cast to appear in a major role in ‘True Blood’s Season 4 finale, according to The Hollywood Reporter. The television veteran will portray Patrick, a tough former army friend of Terry Bellefluer, played by Todd Lowe. If the drama is picked up by HBO for a fifth season, Foley is expected to become a recurring character.

The news comes as Foley recently played the recurring role of Henry on the hit ABC medical drama ‘Grey’s Anatomy.’ He marries Dr. Teddy Altman, played by Kim Raver, to receive her health insurance. Since ‘True Blood’ shoots during the summer, Foley is expected to return to ‘Grey’s Anatomy’ in the fall.
