According to CinemaBlend, Batman might have a new toy to play with in “The Dark Knight Rises.” If you feel this will affect your viewing of the movie, read this at your own peril and suffer the consequences.

According to their article, Frederick Z. Roche, a London-based boom operator and sound recordist, released a tweet about the film. In the tweet, he wrote, “‘The Dark Knight Rises’: Inside Info, they are Building 2 Attack Helicopters in the same design as the Bat Mobile from The Dark Knight! BOOM.”

Now, is this big news? Yes, in the realm of what type of action we might see in this film. Could this guy get in trouble for revealing such a big prop? That’s an issue I don’t have an answer for. But there’s no way to tell if Roche is completely telling the truth, since he has no IMDB page and his site does not tell anything about his involvement in the film. Nevertheless, this is very specific tweet.

What do you think, though? If you’ve read this far into the post, how do you feel about Batcopters coming into play? Sound off in the comments section below.

“The Dark Knight” stars Christian Bale, Tom Hardy, Marion Cotillard, Anne Hathaway, Joseph Gordon-Levitt, Gary Oldman, Morgan Freeman and Michael Caine. The film will be released July 20, 2012.
