The DVD release of horror film “Insidious” is next week, and in anticipation of the event, Sony Pictures has put together a great event for fans of the film. On July 11 at 7:30 p.m. PST/10:30 p.m. EST, Fangoria will host a free special screening of the film at the Silent Theater in Los Angeles. Directly following the screening at 9 p.m. PST/midnight EST, fans will be able to interact with “Insidious” director James Wan and screenwriter Leigh Whannell in a live question-and-answer session about the film hosted by Fangoria. The event will be streamed live to the official “Insidious” Facebook page.

The questions for the Q and A will be gathered from the fans in person as well as fans watching the event through Facebook and Twitter; Twitter questions must have the hashtag #InsidiousLIVE in order to be considered.

Also, as an exclusive to online media, fans will be able to be instantly registered for the chance to win a free copy of “Insidious”! What you have to do is tune into the livestream on the Facebook page and leave a comment on the Ustream tab using #InsidiousLIVE.

If you want to know more about the event, make sure to visit the official Facebook page linked to above.
