“Horrible Bosses” is a film that’s aiming for the “Office Space” crowd–that crowd who likes to see characters that sympathize with their 9-to-5 job stresses. It’s also a film that serves as resume builders for actors like Colin Farrell and Jennifer Aniston who are acting against type. So far, it seems to be meeting its goals very well.

The film has been given a rating of 73% by critics and 80% by audiences according to Rotten Tomatoes, meaning that, for the most part, the film is a success, if just a competent one. The critic consensus according to Rotten Tomatoes is “[‘Horrible Bosses’ is] nasty, uneven, and far from original, but thanks to a smartly assembled cast that makes the most of a solid premise, Horrible Bosses works.”

  1. I loved the movie, I saw it twice. It was LOL funny….I don’t know what critics are looking for in a comedy. Its made up…. I think you need a senseof humor to like this movie, if you don;t like the movie, you’ve got none!!!!!!  Its so much funnier than hangover…
