Thanks to a posting on NativeCelebs via Kcuw Pendleton, Native Americans who are interested in getting into show business now have a chance to star in an upcoming big budget film.

The casting call is for a film that sounds like it could be “Crooked Arrows,” a film starring Brandon Routh (who is a descendant of Native Americans) about a mixed Native American who becomes the head of a Native lacrosse team. Here’s the official casting notice:

Boston Casting is seeking Native American people of ALL AGES for an upcoming film that will be shot in Massachusetts in August. They are paid jobs! The film is about a mixed blood Native American who inspires the boy’s lacrosse team on his reservation to find the true meaning of tribal pride.

Interested? Hopefully if any of you who are reading this actually try out for the film and make it, please give ShockYa (as well as NativeCelebs) a shout-out! We’d also love to hear about your experiences on the film set.

In any case, what are your thoughts on this? Please give us your opinions in the comments section below.
