This week on FilmFan, Sami Jarroush takes a stab at analyzing films “Zookeeper” and “Horrible Bosses” through their trailers, neither of which are particularly spectacular, but one is slightly better than the other.

The first movie to be analyzed is “Zookeeper,” starring Kevin James and a slew of CGI animals. Jarroush didn’t particularly get the appeal of the movie or its star, saying the film trailer was like a “brain freeze” and ” [it’s] if a really lonely Doctor Doolittle worked at a zoo and didn’t have a veterinary license.”

Even still, the only good side to the film is that it’s only being shown in 2D, which is great for parents who have to pay for their family’s tickets. However, it’s rather strange that this type of film is not in 3D as well. Every film is in 3D now.

Anyway, the next film trailer talked about was “Horrible Bosses,” starring Jason Bateman, Charlie Day, Kevin Spacey, Jennifer Aniston, Jamie Foxx, Jason Sudeikis and Colin Farrell.

Jarroush said that the positives of the film are Kevin Spacey, seeing how he’s always a great person to play a horrible boss, and Jennifer Aniston, who isn’t so much a horrible boss as she is a slightly offensive one. I would think that for some men, her character’s possibly a dream boss. In any case, it’s rated R, and if you and your friends want to see an R-rated comedy, it might be one to put a “maybe” next to on your list of weekend movies to watch.
