Reaching new fandom, “The Hunger Games” is the new young adult book series to make its way to the big screen. Just in time to see Harry Potter and Twilight say goodbye.
Yahoo! Movies has revealed this new motion poster which highlights, out protagonist, Katniss Everdeen’s Mockingjay pin. The cool thing here is that it’s a motion poster and you can see the mockingjay pin go up in flames, with epic music in the background.
This is really cool! I am a huge fan of this series and I’m very interested to see how it will be translated to a movie. Jennifer Lawrence is set to star as Katniss and is the story of a young girl thrown into a violent tournament in a dystopian future world.
The tagline is pretty spot on to the tone of the book. It’s actually a line used from the book, a line said before participants of the tournament are chosen.
“The Hunger Games” is the first of four slated movies and will be released on March 23rd 2012.
