It is now official that Charlie Sheen’s character, also Charlie, will be killed off in the ninth season of “Two and a Half Men.” Deadline is reporting that the season premiere will not only start off with a funeral for Sheen’s character on the show, but will be a two-parter.

The outline of the show that has been revealed is that the girlfriends of character Charlie Harper will return to give their condolences. Harper’s house will also be up on the market. Potential buyers of the house will be real-life celebrities and some characters from co-creator Chuck Lorre’s other shows. enter Ashton Kutcher’s character, who ends up buying the house.

However, Kutcher’s character doesn’t own the house by the end of the episode; the story will be extended into the second part of the premiere. The Friday taping of the premiere will be done in front of a live audience, but some portions of the episode will be filmed on a closed set in an effort to prevent spoilers from leaking out to the public.

All of the cast have been asked to sign non-disclosure agreements, preventing them from talking about the particulars, so there is still a lot we don’t know about the premiere. In any case, the first part of the premiere episode will air on CBS Sept. 19.
