Thanks to The Huffington Post and SubaruWRXFan, we now have a first look at Joseph Gordon-Levitt in “The Dark Knight Rises.”

In the video, posted below, we see him in his role as special assignment police officer John Blake. Gordon-Levitt’s part was filmed in Pittsburgh, but you’d never know it since the set was transformed to look like it was in the middle of winter. The piece being filmed is Gordon-Levitt’s character walking suspiciously behind the Batmobile Tumbler. He has some big red thing in this hand that I at first thought was gasoline, but I really have no idea what it could be. Something integral to the plot, I’m sure.

“The Dark Knight Rises” is the last in the series of Christopher Nolan’s “Batman” movies. Aside from starring Gordon-Levitt, the film stars Christian Bale, Anne Hathaway, Tom Hardy, Morgan Freeman, Gary Oldman, Marion Cotillard, and Michael Caine. The film will focus on Bruce Wayne/Batman’s (Bale) battle against Bane (Hardy), a man with superhuman strength. Other characters integral to the film are Catwoman/Selina Kyle (Hathaway), and in some way, Ra’s al Ghul (whose younger version is played by Josh Pence; young Talia al Ghul is played by Joey King).

What do you think about the video? Sound off below.
