Remember that trailer for “The Woman in Black”? Movieline has joined in on the internet conversation about the creepy trailer and has put together a slideshow of 10 of the scariest images from the trailer. Most of the images are just within the first 5 minutes of the trailer.
As I wrote in the article about “The Woman in Black” trailer, the biggest creep factors are those moldy old dolls. Glass-eyed dolls are already creepy in a certain light, but to pair them with creepy monkey dolls and clowns that resemble It is just too much. I haven’t even factored in that they were moving on their own!
I’m really surprised that the slideshow doesn’t contain any pictures of those creepy girls (Are they triplets? Are they even related?). Every horror film has a kid in it, and either the kid is part of the evil or harassed by the evil. It would appear that these little girls in the film are definitely part of the evil, what with their odd looks and the fact that they’re never out of each other’s sight.
