“Glee” star Jane Lynch gave a PSA in character as Sue Sylvester Tuesday night. The PSA, which aired at 8:45 p.m. EST on Fox, is being called the centerpiece of “Glee Give a Note,” Twentieth Century Fox Home Entertainment’s campaign to donate $1 million to arts education around the U.S. You can watch the video below.

With “Glee Give A Note,” eligible high schools are invited to submit videos about why their school deserves a grant at GleeGiveANote.com. After two rounds of voting, Twentieth Century Fox Home Entertainment will name the 73 schools that will receive grants. The grants will range from $10,000-$50,000.

The second season of “Glee” will be out on Blu-ray and DVD September 13. Box art for the four-disc DVD and Blu-ray set is also below the post.

For those who still aren’t aware of “Glee,” the official synopsis of the show is:

“‘Glee’ is a biting musical comedy about a group of eager and ambitious students who strive to outshine their singing competition to win Nationals while navigating the cruel halls of McKinley High, garnering an incredible 19 Emmy nominations–earning it the distinction of being the most-nominated series of the year–and four Emmy Awards.”
