‘True Blood’ fan favorite Joe Manganiello has been cast in a guest-starring role on the October 24 episode of ‘Two and a Half Men,’ Entertainment Weekly is reporting. He is set to play the new boyfriend of Bridget, the ex-wife of Ashton Kutcher’s character Walden. Bridget is set to be portrayed by Judy Greer, who is scheduled to make her first appearance on the hit sitcom on the September 26 episode.
Manganiello’s casting comes as ‘Two and a Half Men’ scored its highest ratings to date, almost 28 million viewers, for its Season 9 opener, which premiered on September 19. The news also comes as ‘True Blood’ just wrapped its fourth season. The actor is also scheduled to play Big Dick Richie in Steven Soderbergh’s ‘Magic Mike,’ a drama loosely based on Channing Tatum’s experiences as a stripper in Florida.
