Spike TV’s SCREAM Awards 2011 will be on your TV October 18 at 9 p.m.-11 p.m. ET/PT, but instead of finding out who will be performing the day of, you can know right now!

Firstly, there will be several special awards and tributes going on — Nicolas Cage will receive the Maverick Award in honor of his “fearless and intriguing body of work” due to his appearance in over 60 films including “National Treasure,” “Kick-Ass” and “Ghost Rider.” Cage will also premiere new footage from “Ghost Rider: Spirit of Vengeance.”

Robert Downey Jr. will accept the Hero Award for his work in “Sherlock Holmes” and “Iron Man,” and a special tribute to the “Harry Potter” films will also take place.

Aside from footage from “Ghost Rider: Spirit of Vengeance,” there will be exclusive footage of “Total Recall,” “The Woman In Black,” “Paranormal Activity 3” and “Sherlock Holmes: A Game of Shadows” will also premiere throughout the show.

Guests set to attend are Darren Aronofsky, “Lost” creator J.J. Abrams, star of “Kick Ass” and “Let Me In” Chloe Moretz, Kal Penn and John Cho of “Harold and Kumar” fame, “True Blood” star Joe Manganiello, “American Horror Story” lead actor Dylan McDermott, “Dr. Who’s” Matt Smith, “Fringe” star Anna Torv and “Death Valley” cast members Bryce Johnson and Caity Lotz. More talent will be announced in the near future.
