Cinedigm Digital Cinema Corp., one of the leading companies in bringing digital movie technology to movie theaters, along with its wholly-owned subsidiary Access Digital Media, Inc., and Technicolor USA, Inc. have signed an agreement for Technicolor to acquire certain assets of Cinedigm’s physical and electronic distribution business. Also agreed to are acquiring global, software liscense agreements related to Cinedigm’s digital theatrical movie and trailer distribution business.

The deal between Cinedigm, Access Digital Media, Inc. and Technicolor USA, was announced July 27 of this year, but is expected to close this November. Throughout the month of November, the companies will work together to ensure a smooth transition for employees and customers.
