The upcoming horror-thriller film ‘Urban Explorer’ is set to have its west coast premiere on Tuesday, October 18 at L.A.’s Screamfest. The Screamfest official selection will premiere at 10 pm PST at the Chinese Theatre 6-Level 3 at Hollywood and Highland.

‘Urban Explorer,’ which was directed by Andy Fetscher and stars Nathalie Kelley, Nick Eversman and Klaus Stiglmeier, investigates 25,000 tunnels on six levels beneath Berlin. Four young travelers sign-up for an underground adventure through a subterranean maze of Nazi secrets. However, they have no idea what horror they’re about to encounter, as well as the secrets that were never meant to see the light of day.

The four travelers meet their guide at a club in Berlin. They all give each other fake names, in case they’re caught by police, as their exploration of the tunnels isn’t legal. Not only are the tunnels physically dangerous, but the government has also sealed them off to prevent Neo-Nazis from building shrines.

The travelers enter the tunnels through a door in the club’s basement to explore the place few have seen, but they soon realize they’re not alone. When they become lost and confused in the tunnels, they meet an eccentric old man, Armin, played by Stiglmeier, who guides them to safety. While Armin seems like the travelers’ savior at first, they come to realize that he may be the last person on earth they want to be in an underground bunker with.
