I think everyone knew this was coming, so this shouldn’t be a surprise. Still, any news about a show being cancelled is shocking and the struggling “Charlie’s Angels” was, indeed, cancelled by ABC.
According to The Hollywood Reporter, production on the show has already been shut down and the remaining episodes will continue to air until ABC figures out what to put on in its place.
The show was never a critic favorite and after its premiere, the ratings for the show fell each week. Last week however, the ratings improved slightly, but not enough to save the show from the axe.
As The Hollywood Reporter points out, “Charlie’s Angels” joins “The Playboy Club,” “Free Agents” and “H8R” A”How to Be a Gentleman” in the television graveyard, and I would say that I don’t expect there to be a big movement to bring “Angels” back, unlike “The Playboy Club” which currently has a huge following on the Facebook page, “Bring Back ‘The Playboy Club'”.

Glad it was cancelled. I am sick and tired of television and movie producers constantly remaking old series and classic movies. There is so much crap being made. What ever happened to originality?
I loved it! It was honestly just fun to watch. Freaking hate the abc, honestly.

I’m surprised it took this long. The 1st ep was god awful and it just got worse. There wasn’t a single redeemable feature about it. some decent stroy might have been a plus.
