The first movie trailer for director McG’s “This Means War” has been released to the web. The first look stars a cast of Reese Witherspoon, Chris Pine and Tom Hardy, all on board as three individuals caught up in a dangerous love triangle. Here’s the official synopsis – “The world’s deadliest CIA operatives are inseparable partners and best friends until they fall for the same woman. Having once helped bring down entire enemy nations, they are now employing their incomparable skills and an endless array of high-tech gadgetry against their greatest nemesis ever – each other.”

This Means War was written by Timothy Dowling (Role Models, Just Go with It) and Simon Kinberg (Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter, Mr. and Mrs. Smith TV series) and also stars performers Laura Vandervoort, Til Schweiger, Rebel Wilson, and late night host and actress Chelsea Handler. The epic battle between Hardy and Pine, with Witherspoon caught in the middle, will be released to theaters on February 17, 2012. Just in time for Valentine’s Day?
