I feel like we’re going back to the “Glee” yo-yo we were in during the season break when the show lost Chord Overstreet from the lineup. Now, a few months later, Overstreet is currently in negotiations to return to the juggernaut musical show.

According to Entertainment Weekly and TVLine, Overstreet is negotiating to come back to the show as his character Sam later this year; according to TVLine, who first reported the news, Overstreet might appear on the eighth episode of this season, which is intending to air in early December.

No one really knows how Overstreet’s character will come back into the show (and will the dynamic he had with the other characters be the same as it was before he left?), but I’m sure Sam fans are just glad that he’s coming back.

If you are trying to figure out how Sam will be brought back into the fold, Entertainment Weekly has constructed an article that gives their opinions on how Sam could be made even more awesome than he was before as well as how he could be utilized in upcoming episodes. You can read about it here. As far as my two cents go, I just hope that he gets back with Mercedes. Let’s make that work, “Glee.”

How do you think Sam will come back to the show? Give your ideas in the comments section below.
