Like all of the participants in “Celebrity Fight Night,” Lou Bellera, husband of Amy Fisher, is surely going to have a lot of fans watching him hold his own in the ring. But Bellera is hoping to show some of the older members of the pay-per-video audience that age is nothing but a number.

Bellera, who makes his living as a cinematographer and wedding/event photographer, has been steadily training for the event. “I’ve been boxing,” he said. “I have a trainer helping me with my boxing. I’ve been running, doing ab work, getting ready.”

Ironically, Bellera is supposed to fight against Buttafuoco, Fisher’s former flame. Bellera said he thinks both he and Buttafucco will give the people what they paid for. “…The people paid to see us, so we’re going to give it out best shot,” he said.

Because he’s older than some of the other participants in “Celebrity Fight Night,” one of the things Bellera would like to prove while boxing is that people over 60 can still have vigor. “I want to show people over 60 that you can still be rugged and in shape and still enjoy life,” he said. “I want to show them that there is now reason to give into Father Time.”
