To celebrate the upcoming DVD and Blu-ray release of “Super 8,” Paramount Home Entertainment has begun an exciting Twitter promotion which will involve solving a mystery in their “Hide and Tweet” game.

According to the press release, Paramount Home Entertainment will hide Blu-ray/DVD Combo Packs of the film signed by director J.J. Abrams in 20 cities across America and began giving clues about the locations through the film’s @Super8Movie Twitter account and Super8Tweet.com November 15. Each day, the clues as to where the combo packs are hidden will become more and more specific until all of the combo packs are found.

The winners who find the combo packs will receive a copy of the film autographed by Abrams as well as a chance to win other prizes, such as tickets to the premiere of “Mission: Impossible Ghost Protocol,” a collection of Abrams’ films on Blu-ray and more autographed prizes, just to name a few.

Anyone who finds a prize can post photos of their winnings on Twitter using the hashtag #Super8Movie.

“We are all so grateful for the reception ‘Super 8’ received, and wanted to give fans of the movie a little real life adventure,” said Abrams, according to the press release. “There are some pretty cool prizes awaiting the winners of Hide and Tweet and we hope people have fun playing.”
