Katherine Heigl seemed to have burned a lot of bridges during her time on “Grey’s Anatomy,” what with her own statements about the quality of the show’s writing, her character Izzie’s relationship with George and the really weird relationship with her dead fiance Denny, her semi-unrealistic cancer storyline, and other little quirks. But Heigl, who left the series in 2010 to focus on being a parent, is now wondering if she can come back to the show.

According to Entertainment Weekly, Heigl is reportedly wanting to return to her character. Entertainment Weekly states that in an interview with E!, Heigl said, “I’ve told them I want to [return]. I really, really, really want to see where [Izzie] is.” She went on to say that she thinks her character would have become a success in another hospital. “She was always floundering, you know, and so she was always one step behind the eight ball and I want to see that girl take some power back.”
