The official trailer for the upcoming political satire comedy ‘God Bless America’ has been released by Magnolia Pictures. The film, which was directed by Bobcat Goldthwait, is set to be released via VOD on April 6, 2012, and in theaters on May 11, 2012.
‘God Bless America’ follows the loveless, jobless and possibly terminally ill Frank, who has had enough of the downward spiral of America. Since he has nothing else to lose, Frank decides to kill the cruelest members of society with an unlikely accomplice, 16-year-old Roxy. She goes on the shooting spree, as she shares Frank’s sense of rage and disenfranchisement with society.
Starring Joel Murray, Tara Lynn Barr and Mackenzie Brooke Smith, ‘God Bless America’ is a scathing attack on everything American society holds sacred. Watch the official trailer below.
