“Twilight” fans are surely counting down the days until the DVD and Blu-ray release of “Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn-Part 1.” To celebrate the release at midnight, Feb. 11, Walmart is going to hold a “Twilight” party.
According to Reelz.com, more than 2700 Walmart stores around the country will welcome the release of the movie Feb. 10 at 11 p.m. The festivities will include trivia games, giveaways and “Twilight”-themed baked goods. The stores will also have a special guest–vampire Rosalie will greet the guests vial an in-store TV feed.
Another thing Walmart is offering–a special edition of the film. Walmart will have a two-disc special edition of the DVD and Blu-ray that will include special wedding dress packaging, a fabric poster of Edward and Bella’s wedding and music videos by Christina Perri and Bruno Mars.
From a “Harry Potter” fan perspective, it would seem that Walmart is aiming to outdo the “Harry Potter” craze with all of these goodies.
