A while ago, MTV recognized the massive fandoms behind comic blockbuster films “The Avengers” and “The Dark Knight Rises” could provide a huge showdown when MTV created their MTV Movie Brawl. It was a knock-out, drag-down fight, but in the end, “The Dark Knight Rises” beat “The Avengers” by a narrow percentage of the votes.

MTV has provided an analysis of the results, citing the facts that the higher stakes, the lovable factor of Alfred’s (Michael Caine) voice-over versus Nick Fury’s (Samuel L. Jackson) voice-over in “The Avengers,” and the villain Bane (Tom Hardy) gave “The Dark Knight Rises” the edge on “The Avengers.”

However, MTV also gives points to “The Avengers,” too, such as the 360 degree shot that shows all of the main heroes of the the film including the CG’d Hulk as well as the level of action shown in the trailer. There’s a lot to love about “The Avengers,” but while there’s tons to look forward too, there’s just a bit more atmosphere to “The Dark Knight Rises,” especially since it’s the last Nolan-verse Batman film.

Either way, the audiences’ experiences for both films will be epic.

Which film do you like the best? Or, will you be in line to see both of them? Give your opinions on why you think one is better than the other in the comments section below.
