According to Comic Book Movie, Gary Oldman gave a bit of insight as to the ending of “The Dark Knight Rises.”

Oldman talked about the ending when he told CNN the story of how he almost lost is copy of the “Rises” script. Oldman stated that while he was doing press for the Oscars, presumably due to his Oscar-nominated role in “Tinker, Tailor, Soldier, Spy,” he had forgotten where he put the script, resulting in a big “panic” because while some other scripts don’t have the ending to the film, his does.

The fact that Oldman is one of the few that had a complete script is telling, because that means that Commissioner Gordon is more than likely going to be involved in the ending. What could that mean? Well, who’s to say, really? He could be alive or dead, so there’s really no point in offering conjecture, but in some way, Gordon is going to be involved in the finale.

You can take a look at what Oldman said in the video embedded below.

What do you think Gordon could be doing in the finale? Who else do you think could have a complete script? Give your opinions in the comments section below.
