This episode had the designers creating a getaway look for a particular season. The catch is that the catwalk would be a head-to-head competition with the designers battling it out to see who had the best season look. The designers were paired off into groups of two, each group having the same season. It was then up to the designers to interpret the season to their best ability, leaving it up to the judges to decide which designs were the winners.

The episode also had another little battle in the form of Jerell versus Michael. Jerell accused Michael of stealing his winter look idea. When Joanna brought it up to the rest of the designers, they agreed, more or less, that Michael’s shawl-like coat was quite similar to Jerell’s. In the end, the two designs only looked like they referenced each other. The judges not only awarded Jerell’s better than Michael’s, but also the winning design of the night.

The loser this week was Rami, whose blue, draped jacket was great, but the chartreuse top with a draped neck was weirdly constructed. Because the colors didn’t go well and the construction of the top was crazy, Rami got the boot.
